Your scanner may have some dust on the glass or calibration strip, please refer to your user manual for cleaning instructions. The recommended cleaning product to use is isopropyl alcohol (available from your local chemist) and a lint free cloth.
The 'Pick Pads' and 'Feed Rollers' on all scanners are designed to wear with use and will require periodic replacement. When your scanner begins to double-feed or jam, the second thing to check (after cleanliness) is the state of the Pad and Roller. If they are worn, you will have feed problems with your scanner. You can purchase pads and rollers directly from Proscan Australia by sending an order to email@example.com quoting the scanner model and serial number.
