Avision's new AV186+ document scanner offers impressive true 40ppm scanning (80 images per minute in duplex mode) will full speed colour capture.
The very compact design will fit on any desktop. When not in use, the paper trays neatly fold back onto the scanner, further reducing the footprint and sheltering the paper path from dust.
The AV186+ offers impressive paper handling, and is able to scan mixed size documents in one batch plus it can also be used to scan consignment notes, business cards and plastic ID cards.
The Avision AV186+ includes the acclaimed Button Manager one touch scanning program, ensuring quick and easy scanning to PDF (or Text Searchable PDF) as well as a range of other output destinations. PDF creation is integrated and produces Adobe Certified PDFs (Adobe engine).
Power users also have the option to use the full featured AVScan 5 capture software which includes blank page removal, automatic colour detection and a host of image enhancement features to help you achieve better quality documents with the smallest possible file size.
ExactScan software for Mac OS X is available as a low cost option.
Like all Avision document scanners, the AV186+ comes with a spare separation pad. Most other brands don't include one.
