A compact, fast and affordable document scanner, the Avision AV176+ is ideal for small or home office users. Its unique foldaway design saves desk space while protecting the scanner from dust when not in use. The AV176+ is capable of scanning a wide range of documents, including delivery dockets, receipts, credit cards, brochures, drivers licences, index cards. Documents of different width and thickness can usually be scanned together, making the AV176+ the most versatile scanner on the market in this price range. Both sides of your documents are scanned in a single pass. The easy to use button manager software, enables quick scanning to your favourite destinations. It also enables scanning to Adobe Certified text searchable PDF and other popular file formats. Many features previously found only on expensive high-end scanners are also included: full speed colour scanning, automatic colour detection, dynamic image enhancement. The AV176+ ships with Twain and Isis drivers for Microsoft Windows. Mac OS X software can be purchased as an option.

How do I do a duplex scan with Button Manager?

Right click on the desired button you would like to preform the duplex function,button propeties is now displayed,select Edit located below the "choose your configuration drop down box", You will now see a check box for duplex.To set Duplex scanning you simply tick the box.

How do i set up continuous scan mode in Button Manager?

Right Click one of the buttons(1-9).

Button properties is now displayed,click the menu Tab and check the box labelled "Continous Scan Mode"click apply to save settings.Use this mode if you wish to scan a large batch of documents and want to save in one single file.
I have upgraded my computer to Windows XP SP3 or Vista and my old drivers and software won't install. Depending on your scanner model you will need to download the latest drivers and applications from our website.Please note if you use Avscan you will need to upgrade to Avscan 4.3,This is available for download on our website.
My image has black vertical lines after scanning documents? Your scanner may have some dust on the glass or calibration strip,please click on the link below for cleaning instructions.

My Scanner is constantly Jamming and double feeding documents?

The 'Pick Pads' and 'Feed Rollers' on all scanners are designed to wear with use and will require periodic replacement. When your scanner begins to double-feed or jam, the second thing to check (after cleanliness) is the state of the Pad and Roller. If they are worn, you will have feed problems with your scanner.You can purchase pads and rollers directly from Proscan Australia by sending an order to sales@proscan.com.au quoting scanner model and serial number.

My scanner is supplied with a number of software packages,which is the best one to use? Depending our your scanner model ,a number of scanning utilities are shipped in the box.You may only need to install the Twain driver supplied or you may wish to install all the utilities supplied.A brief description of some of our software and their uses can be found in the attached document.
