Privacy and Credit Card Security Policy

Credit card payments are processed via Paypal's Payflow (Verisign) and then by the credit card processing centre nominated by our bank, Westpac Banking Corporation.

All transactions are secured by 128 bit SSL.

For security reasons, Proscan Australia and Proscan NZ do not store your credit cards information or personal details.

The web server does log each transaction for debugging purposes, but this only has the last 4 digits of the card number and no personal details.

A fraud prevention system called 3-D Secure is also employed.  3-D Secure is the authentication protocol used by Verified by Visa and MasterCard.
